Matt has been creating artwork since he was about six years old and has been interested in tattooing since he was fifteen. His first tattoo was done with a sewing needle, thread, and drawing ink. You can imagine what it looked like when it was completed.
Since 1994, Matt has been studying the technique of tattooing with professional equipment and is in a constant state of flux and evolution. He is always trying to reach a higher level of artistry through continued education and probing the minds of artists that inspire him. Matt feels he is a diverse artist that embraces all styles of tattoo art from cartooning to photo replication. He looks forward to challenging projects, and designs 99% of the work he impales on the epidermis of America.
